I applied the following suggestions without solve freeze problem: 1) On Windows Defender (antivirus) i set the exclusion for the profile folder. 2) On Windows Defender (antivirus) i set the exclusion for Thundirbird process. 3) On Thunderbird icon I set windows 7 compatibility mode 4) Disable of "Allow Windows Search to search messages" 5) Disable hardware acceleration 6) Add allow on firewall for Thundirbird process. 7) Delete all *.msf
The system is configurated is the following: Windows 10 Windows standard antivirus and firewall (Defender as antivirus) Thundirbird 38.7.1 with only ImportExportTools extension LibreOffice

Try to start Windows in safe mode with networking enabled. - Win10 http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/change-startup-settings-in-windows-10#v1h=tab01
Still in Windows safe mode, start Thunderbird in safe mode. - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/safe-mode
Does the problem go away?
this pc is used for work and is not possible run in safe mode for long time. I tried for 5 minutes and the problem has not appeared.
Thanks
Windows safe mode prevents anti-virus software from running. If things work in Windows safe mode, anti-virus software is most likely the culprit.
Below are some general recommendations, some of them you may have tried already. If none of these fix the problem, you may ask in a Microsoft forum.
Create an exception in your anti-virus software for the Thunderbird profile folder, so that the anti-virus real-time scanner will not scan it. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Thunderbird
Don't let your anti-virus software scan incoming and outgoing messages.
Don't let your anti-virus software scan attachments.
Don't let your anti-virus software intercept your secure connection to the server.
Remove any add-ons your anti-virus software may have installed in Thunderbird.
Thanks but in my question i wrote that the antivirus is only windows defender and i set all exclusion for folder and process.
I'm aware of that. There may be another 'security software' running on your computer.
