How did this get installed there appear to be problems , my computer crashed coincident with the apparent installation. blue screen of death ... correlation is not cause I know. still the timing was NOT good

Relax. It is a bug on displaying the early bird start page instead of the normal one. Did you look at the version you are running before coming here in a fit. Version 45.1 is the latest release version.
