Firefox crashes on start
I can't start Firefox because it instantly crashes, a few hours ago I didn't have any problems. I've tried every step described on this page https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-crashes-troubleshoot-prevent-and-get-help, and I also tried deleting the profile in AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

edit: I rebooted my PC, now Firefox is working again.

Hi druidamortis, Glad to hear from your edit that Firefox works again.
You may wish to try to see if the Firefox profile may be recovered from your Recycle bin or by using Windows previous versions. It will probably contain important settings and information such as logins & bookmarks.

if you feel the need to remove Firefox profiles again I strongly suggest
- That you back them up first
- That it may be less drastic but useful if instead you tried the Firefox Refresh option. (Bookmark any addon's home or support site first).
Note your crash may have been because of ESET security software. Please keep that fully updated, and if you get crashes consider temporarily disabling or installing the ESET software. Note Windows 7 has security software built in. Firefox will shortly need to update to version 48. You could then again get crashes until the eset software catches up and updates.
