Waterfox 40.1.0. Changing the number of page history for each tab?

more options

Waterfox 40.1.0.

How can I change the number of page history (in one tab only) before losing the original page when trying to go all the way back?

It currently let's me click into about 30 or so new pages (within the same tab) before it starts losing the original pages. If I trying using the "back" button to go all the way back...it doesn't go all the way back to my original page.

How do I change this number to increase the number of pages deep I can go into a single tab?

Thanks for any help.

Hi

I recommend you contact the developers of Waterfox for support with this issue.

To the extent that the code is the same as Firefox (some things are different), check the value of this preference:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste sess and pause while the list is filtered

(3) Double-click the browser.sessionhistory.max_entries preference and enter the desired value if the current value is too low

Note that this is for your live session, and history is trimmed for session restore purposes in accordance with the browser.sessionstore.max_serialize_back preference

Please be careful not to change other session-related preferences without researching them first or asking for details, as you can wreck a lot of things here.
