I used to cbe able to check the result of html code by using firefox private browsing page. It was so useful as I could see exactly what i was aiming to achieve, and make amendments. I have either forgotten how to use this, or you no longer have this facility where I can find it. Please advise how I can use this facility now. Your private page looks completely different to the one I used to use.

Perhaps it helps to explain what you are trying to achieve and what you remember. I am not aware of significant changes to Private Browsing.

Mainly PB is going to slightly isolate your tab|page as it does not use cookies that may have otherwise been set. There is also now a containers option which may be useful but is not enabled by default.

Firefox has a wealth of built in tools, many of which are enabled by default:

Many thanks for your reply John. I seem to recall when I used to use PB I got a black page to which I pasted my html code then got the image of what I would see as a result of this code. I am not too skilled with html I should say.

Now I get a page with instructions on it when I open a PB page on firefox. I cannot get beyond this page to do anything more. It is not as Iremember at all.
