I have downloaded and successfully installed the remove dupes addon; the link to two different addons actually both point to the "alternative" version. When I run it I get a javascript message saying that there are no duplicates. As with others the problem started when my ISP, Rogers started telling me that the didn't support leaving messages on the pop server. I unchecked the "leave msgs on server button" and presto, 600 duplicate & triplicate messages are downloaded.

I am running 45.8.0.

I found a fix: When the duplicates arrive I noticed that the sizes, rounded to the closest "k" are not always the same. In the preferences section of the ADDON, the default is to screen for file size, so, in this case, the messages will not be flagged as duplicates. By unticking th size box and relying on the other constraints, I got a useful work around.
