Hello, so today Firefox had an update so I let it finish. Next when I open Firefox it crashes. I restarted my computer and I tried again and the same problem happened again. Next I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox then it still crashes. Next I clicked the "Refresh Firefox" Button and then the "Start in safe mode button". The problem still exists even after doing all that and restarting my computer for the 2nd time. If I click "start in safe mode" the browser flashes up for about 3 secs then goes away and the Mozilla Crash Reporter comes up. I hope someone can help me fix this because this is very frustrating.

Some problems occur when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;

  • Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
  • Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see

Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet. {web link}
