My thunderbird can't get to my Yahoo mail starting 7/17/17.

Starting late yesterday, 7/17/17, access of my Yahoo mail stopped working. Wants me to put in password. Did that, but did not work. I the generated a new Yahoo app password. After removing the tbird one, restarting, and putting in the new one.. same problem. I can still access my yahoo mail from my android mail client... after using the new password. Looks like a tbird problem here.
