I am so, so sorry I messed with WEB CONTENT, now every page has it's own font size, no matter if I scroll to enlarge it changes on it's own. The main reason for trying font size 13 was my eyes cant' see like they used to, BUT the printing labels for eBay now comes out in 2 pages????????

Do you mean Firefox didn't let the page redirect? You can turn that off here:

  • Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
  • Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
  • Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences

In the left column, click Advanced. Then on the right side, with the "General" mini-tab active, make sure the following is not selected (box is not checked): "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page"

If that's not it, could you make a note of exactly what message Firefox is showing you?

If you changed the Minimum Font Size, it's best to lower that down to 9 or so. Otherwise a lot of different layouts will be wrecked.

I cleaned files, cleaned registry, SHUT DOWN COMPUTER, went to sleep,IT IS STILL THE SAME. AND still asking Firefox will not allow content ???

OK Just unchecked>>> Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options I will sign out here and let's see if that works. AT almost 59 5/31/1958, this font stuff is beyond brutal belief,

At this point, perform a refresh.

The Refresh feature (called "Reset" in older Firefox versions) can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your bookmarks, history, passwords, cookies, and other essential information.

Note: When you use this feature, you will lose any extensions, toolbar customizations, and some preferences. See the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article for more information.

To Refresh Firefox:

  1. Open the Troubleshooting Information page using one of these methods:
    • Click the menu button New Fx Menu, click help Help-29 and select Troubleshooting Information. A new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
    • If you're unable to access the Help menu, type about:support in your address bar to bring up the Troubleshooting Information page.
  2. At the top right corner of the page, you should see a button that says "Refresh Firefox" ("Reset Firefox" in older Firefox versions). Click on it.
  3. Firefox will close. After the refresh process is completed, Firefox will show a window with the information that is imported.
  4. Click Finish and Firefox will reopen.

Did this fix the problem? Please report back to us!

Thank you.

Sorry if you can't remember which add-ons you had.

For the future, I'd suggest you to take a screenshot of the add-on page (Tools/Add-ons).

Anyway, if you check your history, you should see some references to the pages where each add-on was downloaded from, which could help you remember.

I am glad to hear that your problem has been resolved. If you haven't already, please select the answer that solves the problem. This will help other users with similar problems find the solution more easily.

Thank you for contacting Mozilla Support.

To discover the names of themes used in your old profile, you could try this:

On your desktop, click into the Old Firefox Data folder, and then into your old profile folder. (If there are multiple folders, check the most recently updated.)

Drag and drop the prefs.js file into a Firefox tab. If Firefox won't show a .js file and insists on saving it, you can rename prefs.js to prefs.txt and try again.

The file contains numerous preferences that contain the phrase lightweightThemes and the themes you had installed as of the time of the Refresh is listed under usedThemes. For example:

user_pref("lightweightThemes.usedThemes", "[{\"id\":\"22676\",\"name\":\"Underwater Dolphins\",\"headerURL\":\"https://addons.cdn.mozilla.net/user-media/addons/22676/dolphinpersonaheadercopy.jpg?1241646214\",\"footerURL\":\"https://addons.cdn.mozilla.net/user-media/addons/22676/dolphinpersonafooter.jpg?1241646214\",\"textcolor\":\"#badcf5\",\"accentcolor\":\"#\",\"iconURL\":\"https://addons.cdn.mozilla.net/user-media/addons/22676/preview_small.jpg?1241646214\",\"previewURL\":\"https://addons.cdn.mozilla.net/user-media/addons/22676/preview.jpg?1241646214\",\"author\":\"kevski5000\",\"description\":\"A persona created for my beautiful girlfriend because of her love of dolphins\",\"updateURL\":\"https://versioncheck.addons.mozilla.org/en-US/themes/update-check/22676\",\"version\":\"1.0\"}]");

That's hard to read, but hopefully working from the name(s) you can find the one you're missing up on the Add-ons site: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/themes/
