installing updates

Hi,

I didn't want to install quantum right now so I went back to 56.

I turned off all automatic updates but it still installs the updates regardless.

Can you help me understand why this happens?

First, Type about:preferences#advanced<enter> in the address bar. Under Advanced, Select Update.

[v56+] Type about:preferences#general<enter> in the address bar. Select Update.

Select Never Check For Updates.

Also turn off Use a background service to install updates
