How do I manually add a website to Top Sites?
I have disabled Activity Stream, but I see no way to add to add a website open in a tab to Top Sites.

With the Activity Stream design disabled you should be able to drag a bookmarks or history item from the sidebar to a tile on the about:newtab page. With the new Activity Stream design there is the "Add" menu item in the Edit drop-down list. Edit will appear when you hover a tile.

Hi, unfortunately you currently can't, although there may be improvements in the future.
You can use an add-on such as
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-tools/
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/quick-dial/
You can still use the old version, but be aware that it may be removed in the future: Type about:config into the address bar, press Enter, accept the warning, scroll down to browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.enabled and double click on it to change 'Value' from True to False, then restart Firefox.
If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!

I'm migrating from Safari, and one Safari feature I loved was their Top Sites page and how easy it is to add a Top Site right from the Address Bar. Would love to see a better implementation of Top Sites in FF.
