Yesterday my Firefox updated to version 59.0.1, after this all videos higher than 720p keep freezing for 2~5 seconds (audio keeps playing) then comeback for a couple of seconds and freezes again and again.

Already tried open in Safe Mode (only make things worse). And play with the "Hardware Accel" plus "Prevent accessibility services from accessing your browser" options (restarting after each change). Also I've give a try on changing "media.mediasource.webm.enabled" on about:config.

Neither of this tests have helped.

Video plays fine in other browsers.

Hi, please try :

Can always : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 59.0.1 with a Full Version Installer

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

I've already had a look on these links, none of them list my problem... Later I'll try the uninstall option and post here the result.

I've just reinstalled right now. (cleaned everything with Revo Uninstaller before restart and install again) Still freezing... ):

Now I've done some more tests, and am thinking that the problem maybe 60fps videos...

Edit:

And now I've updated my GPU drivers and still freezing... ):
