Randomly when I click to order from a reputable site (Zappos, or Amazon...), or unsubscribe from a reputable page (Newspapers.com) or click for more information (WebMD), a new tab opens and McAfee displays a page that says, "Whoa, do you really want to go there" It is a risky site. Why do new tabs open automatically? How can I make it stop??

Hi that would be in Mcafee. You would need to figure that out in the interface or go to their community forum to find answers for that. https://community.mcafee.com/

If it is stopping you from going to other sites or warning on good sites there is something wrong.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
