I am using Thunderbird for my work personal email account. Our company signatures require us to use a separate colour for our names to the one used for the address of the company (gold, then blue). I have created the signature many times now, using the 'save as html file' process, all with correct formatting. However, when I then go to write an email, it only shows the blue - I suspect because that colour blue is also the one chosen as my default for composition of emails (again, work require this).

How do I get the signature to keep the gold colour for my name? It isn't part of the message composition, so should it not stay separate from any instructions for mail composition?

How about you send me the signature file to matt_Au at gmx dot com and I will see if it has issues.

I seriously doubt it is correct as I have just created a signature file that appears to work and will us it in a reply to you. It will be interesting if you see two shades of green writing in the signature or not.
