Can’t retrieve gmail with Thunderbird gmail server does not recognize my user is or password. Tried using “pop” and “imap” neither work also have cookies enable

Have googled this problem tried several tips none seem to work. All started when I changed google email password. Other email clients work on Thunderbird.

Sounds like your security software blocking something. Otherwise you need to contact gmail support to ask them about the problem as well.
