Why can't I get all of my emails from 2014 thru 2019 like I had before I reinstalled Thunderbird?
I re-installed Windows7 back to its factory state, and afterwards, I re-installed Mozilla Thunderbird. I set up my email account using my existing email address, and I selected the IMAP host server. Once created, I received all of my 2014, 2015, and most of my 2016 emails in a POP3 folder. I also received very few of my 2018, and all of my 2019 emails in my INBOX folder. However, I did not receive any of my 2017 emails.
I set up another email account, using the same existing email address, but this time I selected POP3 instead of IMAP. Once created, I only received the same few 2018 and all 2019 emails in the INBOX folder.
Why can't I get all of my emails from 2014 thru 2019 like I had before I re-installed Thunderbird?

have you tried logging into the outlook/hotmail web site to see exactly what mail is on the server to retrieve. It sounds to me like it is simply not there. Having deleted your local copies I really doubt you will be getting that mail again.
Thanks for responding Matt!
Yes, I have checked. Some of the emails are missing and I'm not sure why. I just had them before the re-install and I haven't deleted anything.
Thanks again!
