Application icon in dock is generic after upgrade to 60.4.0

Hello, I upgraded Thunderbird on 1/25/19 to v 60.4.0. The app works fine, but the dock icon is now a generic apple application icon. I am running Mac 10.13.6.

Looks like restarting OS X in safe mode once should restore the proper icon:
