Email Links No Longer Opening a Firefox Tab
I have checked with other browsers so problem is with Firefox. Problem started months ago but just found time to ask.
While reading my emails, I would click a link to go to the page I am interested in reading. Firefox is already open but it does not come into focus. It stays in the background until I click on icon on Taskbar to see the tab that opened to the page I want to read. It does this on every email. Other browsers will come into focus if I make them my default browser for testing and click the same email link.
Any chance there is a change made or can be checked in the Config file? No, the extensions are not causing the problems. Problem was still present when Mozilla had the problem which disabled all extensions.
Suggestions to try certainly welcome.

You can check this pref on the about:config page.
- browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
I set it to"True" but it still does not bring Firefox into focus, Closed and reopened Fx and same result. It opens the link in a new tab but I still have to click the icon on the Taskbar to bring Firefox into focus. Then I have to click again the tab where link page from email was loaded. That's 3 clicks just to get to page I am interested in.
Other browsers will open the email link in a new tab and bring the browser into focus without any other clicks.
Thank you for the suggestion.
You need to set this pref to false to get focus (true means to load in background).
It was already False. Just changed it to True because you referenced it and original was False. Does same thing whether False or True.
