Why did Firefox open Medium.com in a Facebook container?

I clicked a link to an author's profile on Medium.com from an email I received. The link opened in a Facebook container. Now, Medium always opens in a Facebook container, even if I right click and choose a different container. Help!

What email provider are you using? firefox isn't a email program.
