Manually copied profile to new computer, Sync thinks it's still the same PC. Can it give problems?

Hello, i've copied my profle from the old PC (windows 7 ) to the new one (Windows 10) manually, by pasting all the profile folder content in the new profile on the new PC. I've done it manually because: 1) i wanted a complete backup on 2 devices and 2) because Sync fails to sync some password for some reason.

Everything is fine, but under Sync » Check Devices, i still see the old PC listed as "In Use". This doesn't seem to create much problems, but i fear it could create some unintended behaviour as time passes.

Do you have any suggestions? Is there something i can safely ignore? Is there a better way to create a manually profile backup, and still have sync recognize 2 different PCs?

Thank you very much.

Open sync. Type about:accounts<enter> in the address bar. [v57+] https://accounts.firefox.com/settings

https://accounts.firefox.com/signin https://accounts.firefox.com/settings +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Look for Device Name and give each unit a different name so that you will know what is what.
