Do I have to set up individual mailbox accounts in thunderbird everytime i use a different platform?
I have already set up my mail box accounts in thunderbird on one of my laptops. But when using thunderbird on a different laptop do I have go through the mailbox setup process again?

If you copy the Thunderbird folder from one computer to another, all settings, mail, add-ons, calendars etc. are replicated:
