This is in some way only a quality of life feature (request?). Is there a quicker way for searching through your browsing history than going to the actual browsing history window and searching through it using the search bar? I'm looking for something similar to when you enter "%" in the search bar to search through your opened tabs or "?" to "go into google mode" (or whatever search engine you have set up).

Is there something like that in Firefox?

You can use `^` to search through history via the address bar. More modifiers are here: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/address-bar-autocomplete-firefox#w_changing-results-on-the-fly

Alternately, you can go to the three-bar menu, Library -> History -> Show all history (at the bottom), and you can search history at the top-right there.

You can also search history (and bookmarks) via the sidebar.
