how to open multiple html files in new tab instead of new window? example i open 3 html files, it will open 3 windown individually for each html file. How i can set it open the file in one window but different tab?

my Firefox version is 75.0 and i am using mac. i check open links in tabs instead of new windows from Preferences but din help.

Have you tried File > Open File or {Ctrl+O} and then selecting the HTML file when using a newly opened Tab?
