Syncing O365 contacts with Thunderbird

Hello

We have moved to Linux as our OS from windows. We are started using Thunderbird for emails. However when sending mails we are not able sync the contacts with O365 directory so it is not populating the emails in sender list like outlook when we try to look for the contacts. There is an option in thunderbird which says connect to ldap directory under address book menu but I am not sure how to configure it .

Can anyone please help.
