I have created a .vcf file from windows live mail. A number of my contacts have 2 email addresses listed on the .vcf file as; EMAIL;PREF;INTERNET:xxxxx@gmail.com EMAIL;INTERNET:xxxxx@yyy.com

When I import the file into Thunderbird (68.11.0) only the first email address appears. Why doesn't the second email address go into 'Additional email'? I would appreciate any advice/help on how to get both addresses into Thunderbird address book.

Is VCF the only format that Windows Live Mail can export contacts to? Does it not support CSV?

Windows live mail can produce a .csv file but the second email address does not get included in the record. That is why I had to go to the .vcf file.

Hmmmmm! Is there anyone out there? 10 days and no help from anyone! Is this really a Thunderbird community forum?

Thanks for your reply. The problem isn't what is on the .vcf file, it is how Thunderbird imports the .vcf file and doesn't pick up the second email address. It is a Thunderbird problem.

Anyway I have given up and loaded the second email address into an empty field on the .vcf file and one that Thunderbird does bring across then move it to the 'Additional email' field in Thunderbird after importing. Seems a simple fix to me.
