I have been using Thunderbird (TB) for many years to manage several email account I have created through att.net. Every so often, Thunderbird stops recognizing the passwords, so I have had to change the passwords intermittently to continue using that email accounts in TB. Earlier this week it happened again to about half of my email accounts, but this time it wont recognize an update to my password. In one case I deleted the email account completely and reinstalled it however, TB still does not recognize the password. I can log into the email account by going to att.net (yahoo mail) using the same password, but TB still will not accept my password. I have 4 accounts in the same status. I have exhaustingly copied all the setting from my other 5 existing att.net accounts that are still working, and I have tried every Web based solution I can find but it still doen't work for me. Please Help?

AT&T now requires secure mail keys:

Delete the old passwords in Options/Security/Passwords/Saved Passwords, restart TB, and enter the key when prompted for the password.
