Hi Sara!

To change the primary email address on your account, you first need to have a secondary email address added to the account. This will be the future primary. When you have a secondary added and verified, you can make it the primary and (optionally) delete the old email address after it's bumped down to a secondary.

This can all be done within the Firefox Accounts setting page.
