Hi, I am using Thunderbird 78.6.0. I had some troubles with my e-mail account defined in Thunderbird (issues with folders synchronization). So, I deleted the whole e-mail account (in Thunderbird) and wanted to create it again. To my bad surprise, I now receive an error message which says (sorry for my translation into English): "I cannot log into the e-mail server. Most probably the credentials or configuration are wrong." I have confirmed the e-mail server addresses/ports. I can log to my e-mail account through the browser. So my password is ok. Help! M.

P.S. I have even deleted the folder ImapMail from AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles

According to this article, IMAP must first be enabled in the Mail settings/Configuration data section of the account's webmail settings. Is it enabled?
