Uncertain Digital Signature on updated and accepted openPGP key

I have an expired pgp key of someone I imported years ago.. so I downloaded the updated key from the interested person's website and now the expiration has shifted, good! ... not! Because even after accepting the key and closing-opening Thunderbird, I still see the uncertain signature's warning! How to solve this problem?

The warning might be still occurring as the key is still detecting a mismatch as indicated by the message. I would try to contact the provider of this key to see if you can identify the error with them.

If not, I would suggest starting TB in safe mode for now and troubleshooting if the same issue persists.
