I followed directions to delete shortcut from Properties and deleted entire URL. Help
I am trying to restore my original my.yahoo.com page(s). Followed directions for restoring homepage in Firefox, but instead of just deleting the part of the target, I deleted the whole shortcut. What belongs in there?

Are you talking about the desktop shortcut or the home page setting in the browser?

Type about:config<enter> in the address bar. If a warning screen comes up, press the I Accept the Risk button. At the top of the screen is a search bar. Type browser.startup.homepage
What is the value? Right-click and select Reset to restore its default value; about:home
Hi Jeanette, try this as the Target on the Shortcut tab:
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
Some users with older installations will have it under the 32-bit programs path. If the above doesn't find Firefox, try this instead:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
jscher2000. I copied the url but when i went to properties it was already there. plus, trying to access from my history i get BAD REQUEST 400 code. ? ?? Will try other suggestion I received. Thank you.
Hi Jeanette, that was for a desktop shortcut, in case you were referring to editing your desktop shortcut.
Did you mean a shortcut on the new tab page? For that one, you can copy/paste the address from the address bar after you successfully open your My Yahoo page.
