Hello. I am having download problems. Every time I download a file the download speed in kb/s freezes and the download does not progress although there is no indication that the dl is paused. The only solution that works is for me to click pause and then click continue multiple times for the dl to continue. Is there anything I can do for this to work? I already reinstalled firefox but it still does not work.

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for a download manager.

This download manager works separately from the browser. The browser tells it what to download, and off it goes.

http://www.freedownloadmanager.org It is a powerful modern download accelerator and organizer for Windows and Mac.

There are videos that I can download using the "save video as" option. However, the same problem occurs. When I use the FDM, it can't recognize the videos that I want to save and can only save to html format. Is there a way to use the "save video as" but it will be downloaded using the FDM?

Open the FDM program. At the top-right, click the 'hamburger' icon. Then select Preferences. In the new window, scroll down to; Browser Integration.
