get search text/string instead of url/text
I have mainly switched and using firefox due to its ease of use "multiple search engine". It's been a couple of years, however I'm still unable to figure out how
Text to url Text to text works?
I mean let's say i'm gonna search "firefox now requires double click to switch search engines"
Text to url becomes like this- https://html.duckduckgo.com/html?q=firefox%20now%20requires%20double%20click%20to%20switch%20search%20engines
And text to text becomes like this-
firefox now requires double click to switch search engines
Main point: In case of "text to url", search engine has processed and showed result. I click "search bar" and can copy url.
However I'm not sure how text to text works.....many times I immediately click search bar after clciking Enter or Go and the search text stays as it is.

Please ignore, the below is for Windows
If I understand your scenario:
You type a query into the address bar and you have not submitted it yet. While the address bar is still in "edit" mode, copying from the address bar gives you back exactly what you typed.
After you submit the query, the address bar shows the URL of the search results page. Copying from the address bar gives you the URL; you can't get back the earlier text (without editing the URL).
In the third case:

It sounds like there is a short delay between the time you submit your query and the time Firefox enters the URL of the results page? Mine is too quick, so I can't copy the query like you can, Firefox is always showing the URL nearly instantly.

Oh sorry, I was thinking of Windows. Never mind, I need to test on Android!
