How to get rid of the log in for Thunderbird every time I click on Thunderbird. I tried several directions and restarted but the box asking for pass word just keeps showing up.

I do not want to have to log in with my password everytime i click on or open Thunderbird email. I followed directions several times and restarted several times but that darn log in/password box keeps coming up every time I click on my email/Thunderbird.
