Hello everyone.

I have a problem with some websites (most of the text characters are not displaying properly or are missing), when I try to load them using Firefox (problem remains, using Chrome, but Firefox is my main browser). The problem seems to be with greek websites (only with pop-up cookies settings) or greek language versions of websites, but the strange thing is that the problem is almost the same with facebook homepage in english and in greek language (!).
I have tried to search for similar problems and suggested solutions on the internet, but I still can't figure out the cause of my problem and haven't solved it yet. I have followed [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fi...] solution, running Firefox in Troubleshoot mode, which resolves the problem temporarily, but not permanently. According to the above solution, "the likely cause is an extension, theme or hardware acceleration", but when I follow every step to determine which one of these (extension, theme or hardware acceleration) is the problem, all of these prove to work properly.
Therefore, any suggestions would be much appreciated.

You can check for font related issues.

You can right-click and select "Inspect" to open the built-in Inspector with this element selected.

You can check in the Rules tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font-family is used for selected text. You can check in the Font tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font is actually used because Firefox might be using a different font than specified by the website.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Close and restart Firefox after modifying the setting to make changes effective.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.

Thank you for your answer cor-el.

As I've written on my initial post, disabling hardware acceleration didn't fix the problem, neither did troubleshoot-extensions-themes solution.
As I was checking your first solution proposal (font related issues) with facebook homepage (greek version), using the Inspector, it seems that, at the CSS Rules tab, when all font-family boxes are disabled (unticked - check photos attached), text is looking ok. Default font is Helvetica (does this seem to cause the problem?) and Times New Roman, which is set as new font after disabling font-family, seems to display text properly.
So, if it is a font problem, how can I fix it permanently?

Thank you all for your time.

By the way, why does the text of my answers look different than the others (font is different and text size is too wide)?
