browsing history in the Mozilla database - is it anonymized?

After doing an internet search using Firefox, does the data get anonymized? Is it deleted? If not, how is it protected? Can it be deleted? If not how can it be secured? I'm not concerned about the history on my browser - I know I can delete that from my view. How can I ensure, my search history isn't viewable by Firefox representatives? Also, are there third party providers that collect information that I should know about besides internet service provider(s) (and their partners if applicable or cable service when applicable)?

The browsing history is stored in the places.sqlite database (bookmarks and history) and is not specially anonymized (i.e. it's the same URL you see on the location bar). See also:

Does "places.sqlite" refer to the Mozilla database outside my personal computer and customized browser? Is there a main database where my browsing history is stored? I would like to know if search history can be deleted from the main database, and if not can it be secured? If it is collected on a main database, is it viewable or secured?
