Have tried to install thunderbird on yahoo mail and also AT&T mail but I keep getting an error message. See attached.

Why don't you let Thunderbird find the correct server settings automatically?

If you want to use Manual Configuration, use 'OAuth2' instead of 'Normal password' as Authentication method for both, the incoming, and outgoing server.
