Continuous message on Firefox -- Keeps popping up asking that I enter Primary Password. I have no "Primary Password" and the constant pop-up is irritating and time consuming. I have switched to Chrome, but would like to come back to Firefox if you can solve this problem

Do you save logins in Firefox? A Primary Password is an extra layer of security for locally saved logins (Use a Primary Password to protect stored logins and passwords).

According to the following article, one possible reason is using AVG (maybe Avast, too?) or ESET security software: Firefox keeps asking me for Primary Password.

If you aren't concerned about using saved logins, you can reset the Primary Password. See: Reset your Primary Password if you've forgotten it. But that will erase the current list of saved logins.
