Answer a mail include orig. mail ?
Hi. Until 2021 when I answered mails, the original mail was included below my answer, but after an update , I have checked my settings, and it says 'quote my answer above original mail..' (in danish), so setting ought to be correct. Right now the original message is only included if I use option 'forward mail'
I have looked for a setting, but can't find it any more ' 'quote my answer above original mail' anymore. Where do I add this function.

The setting should be found in the account 'composition&Addressing', the message in English is "automatically quote the original message when replying' .

Hi,
I found the setting..
Now I have testet it to my 'secondary' mail address, and it looks strange.
The receiving mail address includes the original mail..
But I can't see the original mail in the 'sent' section of my mail, and that's what triggers my question.
Because if I need to investigate, then I have to find original mail in 'inbox' and then find the answer in 'sent' mails, and that's what annoys me. !
I am not sure I understand. Are you saying that when you reply, the original text is there in compose window, but after the message is sent, that content disappears? Screenshots of that may help in understanding.
Hi.
I'll try, Mozillasent shows mail in 'sent' part in Mozilla, godmailreceived is the same mail in a web based mail, when received there.
So you see it's as if the original mail is 'blanked' out when replied in Mozilla.
oldmozillasentreply is an old mail from 2005 replied, and in sent folder i see the original mail, just to show how i would like my mail to look, i know there is something about threads, but i don't use that, and never has.
I have seen this when people use special themes or other nonstandard settings. I suggest you view the sent mail with cntl key and 'u' to see the source. You might see the text then, with font color set to white. that would cause it to appear blank. If true, then there is a setting somewhere changing font color.
