I can NEVER receive email verification codes using FireFox I have to use Chrome
Hello,
I recently tried to renew a subscription to continue getting alerts for the ISS flyover times. I entered the info to renew, and was told a code was emailed to my address. After 8 attempts over 2 days to receive the code (which was never sent or in my spam folder), I used Chrome to fill out the form, and immediately received the code.
To log on here to ask this question I used Firefox (and I have Thunderbird for my email) and repeated tries got me no verification code. Switched to Chrome and instantly got the verification email.
Just trying to figure out what is preventing me from receiving authentication codes after typing in legit requests with Firefox.
I am using Win7 (x64) with the latest updates of Firefox and Thunderbird. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

What kinda email account are we talking about? Thunderbird uses POP3/IMAP setting to connect and if this isn't set right it will not retrieve the email correctly.
Thanks for the reply, but It's not the email setup. As I stated, both times this occurred, I received the verification code, but I had to use the Chrome browser. And I received them almost instantaneously. But with Firefox, it's as if the information sent to the requesting website never got the request. Again switching to Chrome (and an older version to boot) resolved the issue. So the issue involves a browser setting.
How/where do you receive the code if you use Google Chrome ? Is that via the same email service as you use with Firefox ?
Yes, all the codes are sent to the same email address and received through Thunderbird. The only variable is the browser; I get the codes when I use Chrome, but never get them using Firefox.
Thanks for your assistance.
