I updated to the latest Firefox from a pretty old version, so I don't know when this would have first occurred in a release, but now, when I go to a page like Discord, or many other sites where I stay logged in all the time, it still brings up my saved logins in a box. Even though there is no login area on the page. It goes away when I click anywhere on the page, but it is still a bit annoying and definitely didn't happen before.

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern. I understand that you have recently updated to the latest version of Firefox and are experiencing an issue where the Saved Logins box appears on sites where you are already logged in, even though there is no login area on the page. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

This issue could be related to the browser settings or a compatibility issue with the updated version. To troubleshoot this issue, I would suggest trying the following steps:

Clear your browser cache and cookies: Sometimes, cached data can cause conflicts with the browser's functionality. Clearing the cache and cookies might help resolve the issue.

Disable unnecessary extensions: Some browser extensions can interfere with the normal behavior of web pages. Temporarily disable any extensions that you have installed and check if the issue persists.

Reset Firefox settings: Resetting Firefox to its default settings can help resolve various issues. Please note that this will remove your extensions and customized settings, so make sure to back up any important data before proceeding.

To reset Firefox: a. Click on the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the upper right corner. b. Select "Help" and then choose "Troubleshooting Information." c. In the Troubleshooting Information tab, click on the "Refresh Firefox" button.

Check for updates: Ensure that you have the latest version of Firefox installed. Keeping your browser up to date can fix compatibility issues and improve performance. If the issue persists after trying these steps, please provide more information about your operating system, Firefox version, and any specific websites where you are experiencing this problem. This will help us investigate the issue further and provide you with more targeted assistance.

Thank you for your patience, and I hope these suggestions help resolve the issue you are facing. Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns.

Best regards, Firefox Support Volunteer
