Virus file keeps auto downloading each time that I open Firefox
A virus file, from a website, keeps automatically downloading each time that I open my Firefox browser. I have tried clearing the cookies and history but the file keeps showing up as downloaded but the actual file is not in the general download folder? I only see where it download and says downloaded in the download list. The file contains a virus and also Firefox states that its dangerous. I never clicked to open the file.
How to stop this from keep automatically downloading when I open my browser? Please help ASAP Thanks

You can check that those pages aren't set as multiple homepages. You can check the homepage setting in "Settings -> Home".
Firefox supports multiple homepages separated by '|' (pipe) symbols.
The Firefox installer for Windows are offered a compressed self-extracting 7ZIP archive. The link you posted comes from the 7ZIP website, you can find this link on its Download page under Download 7-Zip 22.01 (2022-07-15): (alternative MSI installer) 7-Zip for 64-bit Windows x64 (Intel 64 or AMD64). Both https://7-zip.org and https://www.7-zip.org work for me and a DNS Lookup on the about:networking page resolves to the same IP.

I don't know how you ended up with this download link, but you can try "Forget About This Site" via a history item, if necessary visit https://www.7-zip.org
The 7zip installer is not flagged as dangerous for me by Firefox (via Google Safe Browsing).
