Go to about:support in the address bar, scroll down to the "Places Database" heading, click the "Verify Integrity" button and wait for it to complete. Restart the browser and see if the problem still occurs.
Thank you for responding. I tried what you suggested and the issue still persists. I checked Windows event viewer, and found it stating "The system cannot find the file specified."
