can't sign into Thunderbird

My wire has a spectrum account and a Thunderbird account. Spectrum did something that locked her out of Thunderbird. Tried everything and it will not connect. Many people that have a spectrum account have told me that they have the same problem. One of T Bird's moderators told me to take screen shots (David GG) to send to him to analyze if all my setting are correct. I am in my 80's so things are a bit slower for me to grasp. I cannot add them to this form only by email. I would love to get T Bird up and running again for her as she has lost her hearing and this is her only enjoyment. I do have the screenshots in my email.

So much confusion here. Let's see if I may clarify things a bit…

  1. I'm not a moderator, just a contributor.
  2. You're probably referring to this other thread: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1490349
  3. If this is still the same issue, not a different one, you should continue the conversation there, not start a new thread to continue discussing the same topic.
  4. I didn't tell you send me anything. I told you to post screenshots of your account configuration settings, i.e. to include them in a reply there, which you can do using the Browse button below the 'Post a Reply' box where you type your post.
