Websites requesting removal of adblock, I don't believe I even have adblock enabled

more options

Other than the icon on top of the browser (which I don't have), where else might I be able to manage adblock if that is indeed working on my firefox browser? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Searching within settings brings up no mention of adblock. And yeah, it's extremely annoying to encounter "remove adblock" on every webpage you visit

Hi Anthony, I wonder if your Tracking Protection setting is extremely strict? If this is a site you trust, you can try turning it off to see whether that is the culprit. To do that:

Click the shield icon toward the left end of the address bar. When the panel drops down, click the slider switch to turn off Tracking Protection on the site. The page should reload. Any difference? (Enhanced Tracking Protection in Firefox for desktop)

If that wasn't it, maybe you have another add-on that might be misidentified as an ad blocker. For example: Blur, Disconnect, DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials, Ghostery, NoScript, Privacy Badger, or uMatrix.

If it's not within Firefox, it could be a feature of your security software (most security software will intercept Firefox's requests to the web and filter them, with various options for what is blocked).
