In most cases, to update Firefox you can go to the about screen. This is accessible if you click the menu button (three horizontal lines located in the top-right of the screen), select Help, and then click on About Firefox. On that screen, any necessary updates should be downloaded and then a button will appear asking you to restart Firefox.
