How do I get my saved bookmarks into my new Win-7 upgraded computer?

I just upgraded my entire system hardware & installed Windows 7; my old config had WinXP-Pro. I've downloaded Firefox 3.6, and am setting it up. Before all this, I backed up my Firefox Bookmarks directly from their folder on my hard-drive onto an external hard-drive. Now I want to get them into my new system & new installation of Firefox. I thought there'd be a simple import command to do this, where I'd give it a simple folder address to find the bookmarks/setup info, but there isn't. How can I get my bookmarks back?
