Spent hour writing comment. Meant to use backspace to backspace but it went to prior page. Lost all that was written. Why not redesign FF so that this never happens to anyone again. Let it be able to go forward to EXACTLY where you were in the text entry field with text intact. Please and thankyou!

You can set the pref http://kb.mozillazine.org/browser.backspace_action to 2 on the about:config page. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/about:config
