firefox 3.6.9 crashes when I try to print with no msg, err or anything

I have a Dual 1.25 GHz PowerPC G4 (tower) running Mac OS X version 10.5.8 and firefox 3.6.9 - everything appears normal until I try to print and then window, firefox, everything just disappears

Does it work on another browser? And try to run firefox in safe mode: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode

good question -just tried it with Safari and it worked fine - what would be different that would cause the problem
