thanks for the answer but this link brings me to the google page. i actually want to have the direct link to the firefox page in english. i have already uninstalled google chrome.

You can set the Interface Language via the Search settings link on the http://www.google.com/ncr site. That should work for the Google Firefox page as well.

That setting is stored in a Google PREF cookie that you need to keep (allow).

thanks cor-el. it works now. i still don't understand why the firefox opening is linked with google.
