How do I delete a line in the drop-down menu that appears when I click the down arrow at the right of the address field/

There are four address lines that appear when I click on the "down arrow", which is located at the right end of the address field (the field where you type in the address that you want to navigate to). I have tried highlighting the line and pressing the delete key. While this makes the line disappear, as soon as I click on the down arrow again, it has reappeared. I have also tried deleting the history, with no success.

Do those entries have a yellow star at the far right?
If that is the case then that are bookmarks that you have typed in the location bar.

No, there is no yellow star on any of the entries. Each entry has the site's (or company's) logo, as well as the name of the site and URL. There is nothing more in each entry.
